Just clarifying a few things.

About Sonic NEON

SONIC NEON SUMMIT (also referred to as “SONIC NEON” or “SNS”) is an unofficial Sonic the Hedgehog fan convention run by a group of dedicated individuals with years of event management and marketing experience. Some of the events we’ve helped include Biggest Little Fur Con, Las Vegas Fur Con, Another Furry Con, and more! There are over 25 volunteers here to make this the best possible fan convention it can be, and the list of volunteers is still growing!

Mission Statement

Our goal is to unite both longtime and new fans who share a love for Sonic the Hedgehog in all its forms—video games, television shows, movies, comics, and beyond.

We aim to create a warm, welcoming environment where everyone can feel comfortable and free to express themselves in ways that bring them joy. Through a variety of activities and events, including panels, unique experiences, and a strong sense of community, we aim to spread excitement and celebrate the creativity that the Sonic fandom is known for.

What to Expect

SONIC NEON is aimed at inviting all Sonic fans and making it accessible to all. We strive to have a wide range of pricing available for those who can only attend for one day, or for individuals that are wanting to go “all out” and enjoy their experience to the fullest. We will have a wide variety of activities ranging from interactive panels, guests of honor from all types of media, a diverse vendor hall, a full fledged arcade with cabinets and console games alike, an area for arts and crafts, a room to relax and recharge in, and more.

Parking at the Grand Sierra Resort is free, and there is food available on-site both in the form of restaurants, to-go counters, and more, as well as a hot buffet inside the convention space where meals will be available for purchase.

Our Team

SONIC NEON has a passionate team of fans with decades of collective experience in event planning, management, and marketing. We will be adding more details about our team as we have profiles made up for them. For now, here are a few of our key players:

BlizzardWolf

Chair, Owner

BlizzardWolf (AKA Jessica) has been in the Sonic fandom for over 30 years and has been in the event and marketing industry for half of that. She is passionate not only about a specific blue (okay, black and red,) hedgehog, but making sure that everyone has a great time. She is the art director for BLFC and volunteers for LVFC and AFC’s marketing and design teams every year.

Jimmy

Co-Owner, HR Director

Jimmy is BlizzardWolf’s other half and has an incredible talent for making things happen. He also is staff lead for several other conventions in the US including BLFC, LVFC, and Anthro Expo. In his former life, he was a systems administrator for a series of casinos.

He is more of a casual Sonic fan, enjoying the movies and shows.

Noel

Lead Artist

Noel (AKA JunkDrives) is a freelance artist and connoisseur of all Sonic fan content. Ever since he could hold a pencil, he would eagerly fill his siblings notebooks with the blue blur and friends. He has a passion for the community and a huge eagerness to create and share stories, making sure everyone gets to do the same with no shame.

FlippantFeline

IT & Tech Lead

FlippantFeline has been a member of the Sonic fandom for 25 years, and has been working with all kinds of tech for just as long. He spends way too much of his time learning and playing with new technology, which keeps him informed on major tech trends. He was behind the creation of SonicFanZone and also helps manage one of the most well known Sonic fan character wikis on the internet.

He is an avid fan of the older games, and will tell you more than you needed to know about Chao.
